Crib is a small independent British design brand that prides itself on great quality and craftsmanship.

The bold, rich colours matched with handwork and applique set Crib designs apart from the usual offerings that one sees on the high street.

Crib founderJane studied design at the world renowned Central St. Martins School of Art in London and has worked for a range of well-known brands; Top Shop, Marks and Spencer’s, Mother Care and Disney to name a few, before launching Crib.

Crib’s range has been positioned in various boutiques and independent stores in the UK and Europe and selected for sale in the prestigious Bond Street store, Fenwick’s of London, but sales have not been buoyant in the UK and this presented a challenge and a need for a solution.

The plateaued economy is proving a difficult climate for small businesses in the UK.

Crib initiated contact with Captaen with an agenda of aspiring to a broader exposure, growth in stature and to connect with the relevant agents.

After a clear dialogue with Crib, Captaen crafted the precise solution for supplying the Chinese online and retail consumer market.

Captaen coordinated the project with government initiatives through the UKTI and CBBC.

Crib has successfully securedroutes to market and aspires to grow and connect strategically online and through China’s vast retail opportunities.
